Sometimes nature comes up with colour combinations that seem almost impossible to believe, and dart frogs are a perfect example.
With their bright colours and incredible patterns, I couldn’t resist trying to recreate some of them in polymer clay. I quickly discovered it was much harder than it looked. Matching the colours, layering the patterns and capturing the character of each frog became a challenge all of its own.
But that’s exactly why I keep coming back to it.
This collection is inspired by the amazing dart frogs that sparked my curiosity and pushed my creativity. While I’ve spent many hours experimenting with clay and inks to recreate their beauty, I don’t think I’ll ever truly be finished. There are simply too many stunning frogs, and too many new ideas still waiting to be explored.
